So what does it cost?
The question most asked over the phone is "How much does it cost." You're not going to like the answer, but it is not because our prices are high. Unlike our competitors, we do not work from a standard pricing sheet and as a result we do not give prices without first seeing the project. Every project is different and every cover is different. Our goal is to provide you the best product for your money. Period.By staying away from standard pricing for new projects, we're able to save you as much as possible on materials and apply that savings in material to more time spent creating the best fitting cover possible. Because of the thousands of different combinations available from the materials and colors that come in varying sizes, it would be impossible to put together anything close to a price list. The bottom line is that anyone selling canvas based off a price list is charging too much 90% of the time because they base their prices off the highest possible supply costs and don't lower them when the fabric chosen isn't in the upper 10% of pricing.
We offer custom canvas & upholstery which includes a price tailored to your exact project. Ballpark estimates are typically not given but if they are needed, be forewarned they can vary from the final estimate by as much as $500 without seeing the project in the case of a boat. Estimates are not given over the phone for the same reasons. However, if you are within our service area we will be happy to come to your house or boat and provide an estimate on the water, but for faster service if your boat is on a trailer we ask that you bring it to the shop by appointment when possible.
We try to price our product fairly, factoring in the time and materials involved in producing custom canvas. If our prices are somewhat higher than other shops, which happens from time to time and we'll tell you up front if it occurs, it is because we use top quality materials and produce a superior custom canvas that you will enjoy for years to come. We are confident in the product we sell and certain you'll see the difference between our product and others on the market.
